৫৩:৩২

الَّذِينَ يَجْتَنِبُونَ كَبَائِرَ الْإِثْمِ وَالْفَوَاحِشَ إِلَّا اللَّمَمَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ وَاسِعُ الْمَغْفِرَةِ ۚ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِكُمْ إِذْ أَنْشَأَكُمْ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ وَإِذْ أَنْتُمْ أَجِنَّةٌ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ ۖ فَلَا تُزَكُّوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ ۖ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنِ اتَّقَىٰ

যিসকলে সৰু-সুৰা দোষ-ত্ৰুটিৰ বাহিৰে ডাঙৰ ডাঙৰ পাপ-1 আৰু অশ্লীল কাৰ্যকলাপৰ(যৌন অনৈতিকতা)-2 পৰা বিৰত থাকে। নিশ্চয় তোমাৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ ক্ষমা অপৰিসীম; তেওঁ তোমালোকৰ বিষয়ে সম্যক অৱগত—(স্মৰণ কৰা) যেতিয়া তেওঁ তোমালোকক মাটিৰ পৰা সৃষ্টি কৰিছিল আৰু যেতিয়া তোমালোকে মাতৃগৰ্ভত ভ্ৰূণৰূপে আছিলা। এতেকে তোমালোকে আত্মপ্ৰশংসা নকৰিবা, কোনে তাক্বৱা অৱলম্বন কৰিছে সেই বিষয়ে তেৱেঁই সম্যক অৱগত।

=লোভেৰে তুলি লোৱা, সৰু অপৰাধ, অনিচ্ছাকৃত অপৰাধ, সৰু সৰু দোষ, অজানিতে কৰা পাপ।)

 This is the only instance of this noun. Wehr (p. 1029) records a value of slight mental derangement. The root verb lamma has three core senses: that of gathering or uniting, that of visiting, and that of misfortune or mistake. It also has the nuance of something small or slight. In the context, it is the sense of  misfortune or mistake which holds up, and I render it here slight mistakes. Most translators render in similar fashion. There is no question but that complete sexual continence outside of marriage is the Qur’anic standard.

Purity/zakkā and Purification/Zakaat:
