Riba/usury 2:275

(Usury Prohibited).

[2:275] Those who (Ellaziina) consume (Ya'kuluuna) usury (Er'Ribaa') are only (Laa illa) standing
(Yaquumuuna) like (Kamaa) one who (Ellazii) stands (Yaquumu) being beaten by (Yatakhabbatu-hu) the
devil (Es'Shai'toanu) with (Mina) madness (El'Massi). That (Zaalika) is because they (Bi'anna-hum') say
(Qaaluu'), "Transaction (El'Bai'u) is only (Innamaa) like (Mith'lu) usury (Er'Ribaa')." But (Wa) GOD (Ellahu)has made transaction (El'Bai'å) lawful (-Ahalla) and (Wa) has outlawed (Harrama) usury (Er'Ribaa'). So (Fa)whoever (Man) a preachment (Maw'ezotun) from (Min) his LORD (Rabbi-hi) comes to him (Jaa'a-hu) and
then (Fa) refrains (Entahaa), thus (Fa) he may have (Lahu) what (Maa) has preceded (Salafa), and (Wa) his
affair (Am'ru-hu) belongs to GOD (ilaallahi). And (Wa) whoever (Man') goes back (Ååda), then (Fa) those
(U'laaika) are the companions (As'haabu) of the Fire (En'Naari); they (Hum') will be therein (Fiiha) eternally
(Khaaliduun).

📍Verse/Note-1
2:275 On the contrary, those who eat Riba (usury), in greed of money, run around like someone who has been bitten by a snake. They claim that trade is like usury. But God has permitted trade and forbidden usury. One to whom the clear Admonition has come from his Lord, must abstain from taking usury forthwith. What he has taken in the past, he may keep and his judgment rests with God. As for him who returns to usury, such are the dwellers of the fire wherein they shall abide.
.
Ash-shayitaanu-min-al-muss = Satan by his touch = Snake by its bite. Satan has been described as serpent in many texts. One who has taken usury in the past, it is better for him to return the interest he has earned, but the law shall not force him to do so. Trade is the return on labor that is permissible, while usury is the return on money and therefore, forbidden.
30:39, 53:39.
[[30:39 When you give to others believing that in return you will get something from their wealth, in addition to what you had actually given (estimating this increase according to your own calculations), remember that according to the Divine Law this will bring no increase in your wealth. (What you get extra in this way appears so because you.calculate wealth on an individual level. However if you calculate it at the level of humanity, you will see that it has brought no addition.) As a matter of fact, the wealth of people increases only when they give with the intention that this will help their own development and bring them in harmony with the Divine Laws. (2:275-276; 3/129; 74/6)pz.
.
30:39 And the wealth you give in usury in order that it may increase on other people’s money has no increase with God. But what you give in charity, seeking God’s approval, these are the ones who will have their return multiplied. [2:275-276, 3:129, 74:6]sa.]]
